As an honored brand of Renaissance Marine Group, Weldcraft practices the same proven values that entrenched our brand as a respected leader since its humble beginnings. If you’re just getting acquainted with Weldcraft boats, here are some pretty good reasons to become a proud owner.

Top 10 Reasons to Choose Weldcraft:
1. A Family Brand
Being part of Bryton Marine Group comes with a long list of competitive advantages. We’re a privately-owned, family company. We don’t have to answer to Wall Street or a multi-national, mega-conglomerate parent company. We answer to our customers.
Boating is our passion. When we’re not on the job building the finest watercrafts, we’re on the water enjoying the freedom and adventure boating brings.
2. Award Winning, Independent Dealers
All Weldcraft dealers must meet stringent requirements in order to represent the brand. They, too, must place the needs of customers first. While many dealers would love to sell the Weldcraft brand on their lot, only a select few have the proven track record of customer service, local boating knowledge and expert service experience that we demand. Like you, our dealers are part of the Weldcraft family.

If your dream is to own a boat that’s built to fish better than any other, you want a Weldcraft. After all, Weldcraft boats are designed and built by anglers. In our office and on the factory floor, you’ll find walleye fanatics, steelhead specialists, bass professionals, trophy trout chasers and salmon slayers. All Weldcraft models are multi-species machines that can adapt with minimal accessory changes.
5. Customizations
When it comes to getting a boat tuned to your exact preferences, an all-welded, heavy-gauge aluminum Weldcraft, is far more flexible than any fiberglass or light gauge aluminum boat you can find. Our independent dealers are experts in helping you define the exact type, size and placement of desired features and accessories. We offer countless options for seating, top enclosures, gear storage, rod storage, safety, electronics and motor options. If you want it, chances are we can build it.

6. Motor Choice
Let’s face it, the brand of motor you choose to power your Weldcraft is equally as important as the boat itself. In conjunction with our independent dealers, we’ll make recommendations based on your usage and budget, but we don’t dictate a specific brand. Weldcraft is a preferred OEM manufacturer for all major motor brands including Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki and Evinrude. The choice is yours.
Yamaha Power7. Construction Welded for living.
Welded for life. It’s more than a tag line. We transform heavy-gauge, marine-grade aluminum into flowing, all-welded designs, capable of navigating wandering rivers, heaving oceans or wind-whipped reservoirs. From massive box girder runners that are welded the entire length of the bottom to provide stout support, to extensive bow bracing that’s uncommonly rigid and tough, Weldcraft has a rock-solid infrastructure that serves as the foundation of every boat. Add premium components, hundreds of feet of welds, all-season materials and thoughtful ergonomics applied to every inch of every Weldcraft.
8. Lifetime Durability
Weldcraft’s limited lifetime warranty reflects the commitment, construction and attention to detail Weldcraft is known for. It’s a tall standard but one we’re comfortable conveying. Weldcraft’s limited lifetime hull warranty is something we’ve been providing for decades. Thanks to thousands of customers who use their Weldcraft’s under some of the harshest conditions, we know how well these boats hold up. “Lifetime durable” isn’t just a fast phrase, it’s a mindset we embody every day at Weldcraft boats.
9. Resale Value Protect
your boating investment by purchasing a brand that has broad appeal, a well-known name and a long history. Weldcraft boats generate higher resale values than off-brands that lack the recognition and market appeal that Weldcraft wields. We’ve heard time and again from Weldcraft owners who have been pleasantly surprised by how well their Weldcraft held its’ value. Reduce your cost of ownership — buy Weldcraft

Our Story.
Over 56 years of rugged innovation.
It was 1965 when Norm and a close friend decided to journey by boat up the intimidating rapids of the Snake river and forge deep into the Hells Canyon Wilderness. The epic adventure got the wheels of innovation turning in Norm’s engineering-minded head. Upon the return, he declared, “I want a boat.” This started a new chapter in his life. He would be boating on that river for many years to come, becoming a guide, fishing, hunting, holding tours and building a lodge in the upper depths of the canyon in the 1970s.
In 1967, Norm started Weldcraft Custom Boats, which quickly grew in business. Near this time, the lodge went up at Kirby Creek on the Snake River, which encouraged him to design and build a better boat to reach the depths of Hells Canyon. He started Snake River Outfitters, Rafting, and Jetboating.
Norm passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, of natural causes at 87 years of age. A true Idaho innovator and individual, he was born in Meridian, Idaho, on Sept. 29, 1927 to Voyne and Bernice Riddle and was the youngest of two boys.
Norm’s legacy will continue to live on with every Weldcraft that rolls off the lot.

Intelligent, sturdy and versatile.
Weldcraft Boats have a long history that stretches back 56 years to its beginnings in Clarkston, Washington and the demanding rapids of the Snake River. Then, only a handful of river-running pioneers dare test these waters. The intense power of this river can swallow boats in an instant turning them to scrap in moments. So only the most skilled boat operators in boats expressly designed for the might of this river made it their gateway into dazzling and spectacular country out-of-touch by most.
Weldcraft was one of those pioneers.
It’s where these boats were borne and where they’re still built today. Frankly, if a boat can withstand the rigors of the Snake they can stand-up to pretty much anything. And from the outset, that was the goal — to build boats to a lifetime standard. Weldcraft Boats have been painstakingly designed to deliver all the attributes anglers and boating enthusiasts demand. Beyond all the construction elements, features like interior space, walk-through space, attention to ergonomics and comfort, balance and attention to detail are wrapped into every Weldcraft package.
Angler functionality.
Weldcraft’s rugged good looks punctuate its sturdiness and affinity for angler functionality. These are hard working, hard fishing boats first and foremost. Don’t let the rich paint schemes or thick upholstery fool you, it’s Weldcraft’s strength of character that’s been its main attraction since the beginning. It’s precisely this character that’s won legions of fans who take these boats offshore in search of tuna, halibut and salmon. Whether it’s running enormous whitewater, scooting across shallow riffles, running out of sight of land or motoring across a favorite reservoir, Weldcraft’s a boat that says, “bring it on”.
Based in Washington.
Weldcraft is owned by Renaissance Marine Group (RMG), based in Clarkston, Washington. As an RMG brand, access to service, strict adherence to Weldcraft’s high standards of construction and performance and state-of-the-art design and manufacturing assure an exceptional ownership experience for Weldcraft owners past and present.
Spirit of Weldcraft.
While you may never venture 50 miles or more into the Pacific, power through three story rapids or be faced with a 100 mile run across wind-blown chop, know that you could. That’s the spirit of Weldcraft, to capably take you and your precious cargo wherever your imagination allows.
